Ilkley Town Welcomes New General Manager

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of our new General manager, Ben Hilton.

Ben has an outstanding background for this role having worked as a manager of Goals Soccer Centres in both Leeds and Bradford as well as in hospitality and community outreach.

The running of football side of the Club will remain largely unchanged, but Ben will be picking up all day-to-day duties and responsibilities of running the operational and administrative side of the Club.

This includes everything from the day-to-day management of the Club's facilities, pitch bookings, memberships, health and safety etc, through to new community outreach programmes as well as working alongside existing team members to further the Club’s commercial interests across a broad range of areas that we have been exploring over the past 6 to 12 months.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work at Ilkley Town and build on the foundations of what is already an outstanding community football club,” said Ben.

“I know the Club and area well having spent the last 12 years here, and even doing a short stint playing for the club’s reserve team.

“I cannot wait to get going in what is an exciting time for the Club as we look to progress on and off the pitch with new programmes and initiatives that will see Ilkley Town thrive.”

ITAFC Chair Robert Brown added:

“I know that Ben is very excited at realising the full potential that Ilkley Town has as a community football club, and I hope that you will provide him with a warm welcome and support him in this new role.”
