Open Day - Ilkley Town AFC Scholarship
The Ilkley Town AFC Scholarship is an outstanding football and education program for 16–18-year-old male and female students based at our partners, St Mary’s Academy Menston. St Mary's school is rated outstanding by Ofsted and offers a good range of A level and BTEC options.
The course offers talented young footballers the opportunity to study whilst actively participating in an exciting and competitive football development program.
Through the provision of an excellent footballing curriculum players may be given the opportunity to represent Ilkley Town at U21, U23, first team or women's team level.
As well as an excellent academic program, all students will receive
- learning in a coaching environment with professional UEFA A and B qualified licensed coaches,
- competitive fixtures supported by the Ilkley Town development program.

Ilkley Town AFC men’s first team currently play in the North West Counties Division One and the women's team in the West Riding Division One. Ilkley have a history of developing local talent from within the surrounding area.

To find out more we are inviting students to our next open event so you can see how our program benefits your child on and off the pitch.
Our Event will include a presentation to discuss the Education provision which is delivered by our partners St Mary’s Academy, followed by a training session delivered by UEFA A and B coaches on the 4G pitch at Ilkley Town AFC. The Open Day takes place at the MPM Stadium, Ben Rhydding LS29 8AW.
