Warm welcome for New Training Shirt Sponsor

Ilkley Town AFC is delighted to welcome P4 Solar as its Official Training Shirt sponsor.

P4 Solar is a local solar panel, battery storage and EV charger installation company with strong connections to the club – Project Manager Justin Hewitt has two daughters playing in the junior teams and Operations Manager Fred Maddocks is a former player.

The two-year deal will see P4 Solar’s logo and web address on training shirts worn by the club’s 800+ players, pitch-side advertising and other marketing, plus membership of Ilkley Town’s new 1948 Club – a group that connects the club’s sponsors through events and networking and ensures they get great value from their involvement with Ilkley Town.

We strive to make an impact to the ever-growing environmental challenges that we all face today, and especially our future generations to come.

“We want to support, enhance, and work with local families and businesses who want to make the change to a more sustainable future with our solar and battery storage solutions. This itself goes a long way to minimise our carbon footprint, with 90% of our installations being within a 25-mile radius of the Wharfe Valley, rather than working across a larger geographical area.

“We genuinely believe that local people would rather use local suppliers, and we endeavour to support this ethos.”

Club Chairman Robert Brown said: “We’re delighted that P4 Solar has joined the Ilkley Town family. We’ve recently revamped our sponsorship offer and hope P4 Solar is the first of many regional businesses to get involved with the Club. We have big ambitions for Ilkley Town AFC which can only be achieved with additional support from businesses like P4 Solar.”
